A note to my customers in the USA
The US Federal Government has decided to end the de minimis exception for shipping. This means that you will have to pay an additional 35% tax to the US Government when you order products from me (and most other Canadian shops). To be clear, the US tariffs ARE A TAX on AMERICAN CUSTOMERS. Tariffs are not paid by the Canadian government.
This change has also resulted in my being unable to guarantee timely deliveries to the US right now.
As of today, I decided to close my shop to orders from the USA. This is unfortunate for both me and my potential customers, but I don’t see a better choice at the moment.
If this irritates you, please contact your local federal government representative and ask why citizens of the USA have to 35% more for products from Canada.
